Located in Saltusio, Hotel Pension Sonnegg is an alpine-modern style, family-run hotel with free bikes and free Wi-Fi. It offers a relaxing sun terrace and classically furnished rooms with a balcony and mountain views.
The hotel features a new modern spa area with Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, relaxation area with water beds, a new roof terrace with whirlpool. Rooms at the Sonnegg have wood-panelled walls and vinyl and carpet floors.
Each comes with a satellite LCD TV and a seating area. The extensive buffet breakfast, served on the terrace in fine weather, includes both sweet and savoury items. The restaurant is open for dinner and specialises in both Tyrolean and classic Italian cuisine.
Hiking and biking trips are organised twice weekly. A shuttle is available from/to Merano Station, 10 km away, and the Gruppo di Tessa Natural Park is a 15-minute drive from the hotel.
