Nestled in Nicolosi at the foot of Mount Etna, this family-run B&B offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, and air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. Buses to Catania stop 50 metres away. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is standard in all rooms at B&B Alfio.
Each bright room has a fully equipped private bathroom. Some rooms overlook the Monti Rossi crater. Breakfast is continental style, including sweet pastries, local cheeses, cold cuts and cappuccino coffee.
