Next to Roccaraso Train Station, Hotel Iris is just a few steps from the town's main street and free parking. Rooms have views of the mountains or Pratone Park and come with handmade wooden furniture and either marble or parquet floors.
Each one features an LCD TV and free wired internet. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and in some rooms. Breakfast at the Iris Hotel is a sweet and savoury buffet. You can enjoy handmade fresh yoghurt, pies and cakes and croissants straight from the oven.
There is also ricotta cheese, ham and eggs. The restaurant offers great views of the park from its large windows and serves a mix of local and international dishes made using only the freshest ingredients.
The hotel has a free mini club for children and a games room, where you can play cards. The bar is open until 01:00 and there is a comfortable lounge with sofas and magazines. You are just 150 metres from the town's ice skating rink and public swimming pool and bowling alley.
The town of Pescocostanzo is 5 km away, while the Maiella National Park is ideal for trekking.
