Located in the south east of the city, this area is dominated by the ancient Via Appia Antica and this apartment is only a short stroll from there. Known to the Romans as Regina viarum (Queen of roads) parts of the road date back to 312 BC and the road literally bleeds history as Spartacus and 600 of his rebel slaves were crucified here.
